This is a short Ugandan tour uniquely designed to let you explore the Source of the Nile at Jinja- the renowned adventure capital of East Africa.
The 2 day Jinja City Tour Uganda takes you through amazing experiences including en-route visit to Ssezibwa waterfalls and forest walk in the lush Mabira Forest then the captivating white water rafting on the Source of the Nile.
Jinja is the second biggest and busiest city after Kampala, and it is located in Eastern Uganda. Founded in 1907, Jinja city is about 85kms away from Kampala and it is suitably located on Lake Victoria shores and it is where the Source of the River Nile is located.
It is incredibly one iconic tourist destination with plenty of attractions and adventure experiences ranging from bungee jumping, white water rafting, kayaking, boat cruise to horseback riding. On this 2 days Jinja tour, your trip begins and ends in Kampala or at Entebbe, the capital city of Uganda.
Day 1:
- Visit Ssezibwa falls, Mabira Forest walk and evening boat cruise. OR
- Ziplining in Mabira Forest, then Quad biking and an evening boat cruise to the source of the Nile.
Day 2:
- Visit some monuments and then go for White water rafting – return to Kampala or Entebbe. OR
- Visit Itanda falls and the go for Kayaking or tubing on the Nile – return to Kampala.
