The Ewaso Ng’iro river, runs through the reserve and provides a water source for different resident wildlife including; elephants, lions, leopards, and giraffe. While on this 3 Days safari here, you will also enjoy the stunning landscapes with rugged mountains and savannah plains that create a picturesque backdrop for wildlife viewing.
Day 1: Transfer from Nairobi to Samburu game reserve
On arrival at Nairobi International Airport, you will be met and briefed on your Kenya tour before proceeding to Samburu, Kenya’s rugged northeastern region.
Samburu is well known for some unique species like the Gravy zebra and reticulated giraffe.
Have fun with an afternoon game drive in this park before returning to Samburu Lodge for meals and overnight (FB).
Day 2 of 3 Days Kenya Family Tour: Do game drive and wildlife tour in Samburu game reserve
Have fun during the morning and afternoon game drives in Samburu reserve. This place has got an abundance of trees, water, and shade, which entice wildlife.
Fantastic game spotting should be your order of the day. Return to Samburu Lodge for meals and overnight (FB).
Day 3: Do an early morning game drive and then depart for Nairobi
After breakfast, connect to Nairobi and if you have ample time before your scheduled departure time, take a chance to enjoy visits to Nairobi’s city center attractions.
This might include lunch at the Carnivore Restaurant followed by a visit to Karen Blixen Museum and Giraffe Centre. (However, these are extra activities that are not included in the costed package so you’ve got to pay for them.)
